Accounting assistance system

Context

The accounting department of a large company prepared invoices and recurring sales reports by hand. The work was spread across several disconnected tools, and many steps were repeated every month in exactly the same form.

Problem

There was no tool that would generate the required documents on a schedule. On top of that, accountants did not want yet another program next to the ones they already had. The new system had to replace the old tools, not add to them.

Solution

We built one system end to end. It produces invoices and reports on a schedule and takes over the work previously done in the old tools. Permissions are built from roles and role groups that an administrator can fully edit, so document visibility follows each employee’s function. Sign-in uses the same credentials people use every day, through an integration with the company’s user directory.

Outcome

The accounting team works more efficiently and spends its time on tasks that need real expertise instead of retyping data. The entire process now lives in a single piece of software.
