Problem

The client needed to extend the functionalities provided by the ERP Optima system.

Planned functionalities:

• Scanning documents to import their data into the system
• Data analysis of new employees’ documents for fraud
• Integration with the RFID gate system
• Calculation of working time based on data collected from gates
• Sending personalized messages to RFID gates

Challenge

The client is the owner of many manufacturing companies. It has a large number of employees. For this reason, the created solution must be reliable and fast. The network signal in many factories is poor, therefore, it was necessary to verify the completeness of the data having that in mind.

To maintain data consistency, the new solution had to be integrated with the existing ERP Optima system: ERP Optima Integration

Solution

In order to solve the problem, an ERP system was created that meets all functional requirements. The system interface has been prepared in a way that its implementation did not cause any major problems for employees.

Data sent from the gateways are encrypted and queued to avoid the problem of security and poor coverage.

The system recognizes document scans and reads text data and photos from them.

Result

Thanks to the new system, employees’ time have been optimized and the client receives additional revenues from sharing it with its subcontractors. In addition, the number of errors in the entire process has decreased.

The whole thing leads to an increase in total revenues and a reduction in costs.
